Why is the HMI on my E-Series Relay not responding?

If the HMI is inoperable (no softkeys shown on the panel, or device not responding) the device is probably handling Ethernet packets (Connector X100).  

If the relay remains in this state for more than 5 minutes, unplug the Ethernet (Connector X100) and check the HMI again.  If the device is now operable, there is an error on your Ethernet network.  Please check your network traffic.

If your relay does not have an Ethernet connector (Connector X100), leave the device connected to the supply voltage and contact Eaton's Customer Success Team for assistance.  What is the technical support number for Meters and Relays?
